Metafosphan is a veterinary metabolic stimulant injectable solution manufactured by Pharma Swede-Egypt. It is formulated primarily to treat phosphorus deficiencies and manage acute or chronic metabolic disorders in livestock and horses.
Product Composition
Each 1 mL of Metafosphan contains:
Butaphosphan: 100 mg (an organic phosphorus compound that enhances energy metabolism and assimilation)
Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12): 0.05 mg (vital for protein synthesis, fat metabolism, and red blood cell production)

Deficiency Treatment: Prevents and treats phosphorus and Vitamin B12 deficiencies.

Key Safety Information
Withdrawal Period: 0 days for both meat and milk (no treatment pause required before slaughter or milking).
Side Effects: Rare, but hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to Cyanocobalamin may occur.
