Ingredients and Key Properties
Difference from regular Paramectin: Regular Paramectin contains only Ivermectin
for eliminating external worms and parasites.
Paramectin Super formulation: It has been fortified with an additional substance specifically for controlling adult liver flukes
(Liver Fluke), making it a comprehensive expeller of hepatic, gastrointestinal, and pulmonary worms.
Indications
Used to treat and control the following parasites primarily in cattle:
Internal parasites: Gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, and adult liver flukes (Fasciola).
External parasites: Mange, sucking lice, and warble flies.
Dosage and Administration
Route of Administration: Administered subcutaneously only.
Injection Site: Preferably injected in the neck region (behind the ear) or in the loose skin in front of the shoulder.
Standard Dose: 1 ml per 50 kg of animal weight (or as per precise veterinary instructions based on weight).
Warnings and Withdrawal Periods
Contraindications: Not to be used for calves under 16 weeks of age or weighing less than 50 kg.
Injection Method: Absolutely prohibited for intravenous or intramuscular injection.
Meat Withdrawal Period: Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption until at least 30 days after the last dose.
