Floricol

 is a broad-spectrum veterinary drug and antibiotic produced by Pharma Swede Egypt

• Each 1 ml of the oral solution contains 100 mg of Florfenicol.
• This substance is a developed derivative of phenicols (such as chloramphenicol and thiamphenicol antibiotics) and is characterized by high efficacy against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria without causing the serious side effects of the older generation.

• Chronic Respiratory Diseases (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma.
• Fowl Cholera caused by Pasteurella bacteria.
• Salmonellosis and diarrhea caused by E. coli.
• Severe lethargy and loss of appetite associated with bacterial infection.
• Dosage and Administration (for Poultry and Birds)
  The medication is administered orally by mixing it with drinking water: 
  • Poultry and Birds: The general dose is 20 to 30 mg per kilogram of body weight daily, which practically translates to about 1 ml to 2 ml per liter of drinking water for a period ranging from 3 to 5 consecutive days (according to the veterinarian's instructions and the size of the birds).
  • The drug solution must be prepared daily with fresh, clean water, ensuring that untreated water is not provided throughout the course of treatment.
• Contraindications and Exceptions
  • Laying Hens: Not for use in chickens and birds producing eggs for human consumption.
  • Lactating and Pregnant Animals: Not for use in lactating cattle or young calves.
  • Withdrawal Time: The medication must be discontinued at least 5 days before slaughtering birds for human consumption.
